In 2010, I packed my bags and left home (England) to travel the world. What was initialy meant to be just a 1 year backpacking trip has turned into long-term solo budget travel. I am a true nomad in the sense that I only returned home for brief visits since I first left home.
In 2016, I finally hit the hardest brick wall, I had got tired of traveling, however turns out I just needed a break. So I decided to take a sabbatical from traveling the world. During my time back home, I started to read a lot more travel blogs than I usually would and noticed a distinct lack of 'real information' out there for first time budget backpackers.
In May 2017 forever roaming the world was launched, with the purpose of sharing my budget travel knowledge but also to educate anybody looking to go on their first trip what day to day life traveling is really like.
My blog might not contain pretty pictures of food, where to eat or full 'ultimate guides, of the 'fluffy' stuff, I will not tell you how to travel but it will give real information. I I show and advice on how traveling can affect your mindset, how it can alter your perception of what is normal, traveling realism's. I will tell you about the highs and good times you can experience traveling but I will also let you know about the rough times.
This is not just another travel blog, this will hopefully give you an idea of what long-term solo budget traveling is really like.
