Bagan is one of the most magical places I’ve ever been to. It’s an ancient city known for its temples and pagodas and I was fortunate enough to spend 3 days here earlier this year. It was in April, summertime in Myanmar and a time when Bagan gets BOILING hot (like 47 degrees Celsius). The wind that blew while I drove from temple to temple with my scooter made it manageable though and the time I’ve spent there was truly wonderful. I was one of the few people crazy enough to explore Bagan in the excruciating heat during the middle of the day which allowed me to be completely alone in many temples. These are my memories.
